This is only part of the story, parts he shared with me and what we shared together. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO SHARE YOUR PART OF THE STORY TOO. THIS IS NOT A PLACE TO BICKER OR. BLAME, BUT TO MAKE RECORD OF OUR LOVED ONE JERRY BOSS HARDING JR AND. FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS TO LEARN. ABOUT HIM. GOD BLESS. JERRY BOSS HARDING JR was born on October 30 1954. His parents were Finnus and Jerry Boss Harding Sr. He was the second son of the family. He had one sister, Terry, and four brothers, Dinnus, Nicky, Ricky(deceased), and James(JC). They lived on Lotus Avenue in. St Louis Missouri. Jerry had his early education in St Louis and continued his education in Permison Germany. During this time he was enlisted in the United States Army. He was honorably discharged from the army and returned to St Louis due to his father taking ill and later passing. He began his own family with his wife Barbara and gave birth to his son Jerry Boss Harding III (Lil J ) and his daughter Beverly (Cheeky Girl ). As time went on Jerry became a Paw Paw to his grand daughter Ronniya ( Niya Girl ). Jerry's love of his life was his mother, Finnus, whom he later stayed with and helped care for her until she passed. Jerry had many different occupations. Some of them included security officer, casino dealer, cook, caregiver and his favorite was youth counselor at Hawthorn Psychiatric Hospital in St Louis. He also continued working with children at Rivervalley Behavioral Hospital in Owensboro, Kentucky, until due to illness became disabled. Years later while searching for something missing in his life, he met his "Hawaiian Punch", Priscilla, while she was visiting St Louis. Soon following they began their life together on a chilly April 24th. They found their place to call home in Owensboro Kentucky. People always asked how coming from big cities, why they chose Owensboro and he would always say,"We ran out of gas." They lived their life in their happy home for years and later was joined by daughter, Amber (Big Butter) and grand daughter, Kayla (Butter Baby). They all joined a church in Owensboro and became members. Their new church family took them in from the moment they walked in the doors. Jerry returned to Christ and made peace with the problems from the past. Jerry has made an impact on all those who have had the blessing of coming in contact with him. With a sweet smile on his face and his charming wit, he would share himself with you if you were allowed into his world. Even through all the health ailments and conditions he had to deal with he would always have time for some friendly chatter that would btighten your day or crack you up. Through it all he tried to always enjoy life and keep a smile on his face. On a rainy Tuesday morning, December 13th, 2011, Jerry was called home. Jerry will be missed by all those who knew and loved him. The cowboy has ridden off into the sunset.... Happy trails to you....til we meet again...over the rainbow....Keli Poku.
